ISSUES

From January 20 to 27, RCRC is joining Trust Women Week, an online mass mobilization for women’s lives and rights. This unique campaign is working with MoveOn.org and more than 70 organizations across the nation.
Our goal: to collect one million signatures to let legislators know that reproductive justice, reproductive freedom and reproductive rights are at the top of our agenda, and should be at the top of theirs, too.
RCRC has our own “portal” to this ambitious campaign, and when you click on it, you are sending a special message that the pro-faith pro-choice community matters. We want policymakers to know that people of faith support reproductive justice and trust women to make their own decisions about their lives and bodies.
Here’s what we are asking you to do:
1. Become a “virtual marcher” for women’s rights.
Click on the unique RCRC portal to the campaign:
RCRC -- TRUST WOMEN WEEK VIRTUAL MARCH
There you will be asked to sign in and pick the message that you want to send to members of Congress, governors and state legislators. It takes less than a minute.
You will be invited to choose one of these messages:
I trust women and I vote.
Reproductive rights are human rights.
Keep abortion safe and legal, and make it accessible and affordable.
Stand up and be counted for reproductive justice.
We are the 99%. Fix the economy, and stop the attacks on women's health.
Contraception Is Prevention.
2. After you’ve marched, invite your friends!
Send this message and this link to friends and colleagues. Tell them that it’s important to start 2012 off with a strong message to our policymakers and legislators that Americans value reproductive justice and trust women. Ask them to join with RCRC by using our unique portal.
Here is the link again to send to your friends:

And … there is a fascinating bonus. After you send your message, you will see a real-time map showing you what sentiments other virtual marchers in your community and around the nation are sending. You can also comment on Twitter: #TrustWmn or @RCRChoice.
Please join us as a “virtual marcher” in Trust Women Week.
