Healthy Families


Healthy Families is RCRC’s campaign to ensure that children and families have the resources they need to live in peace and security. The basic elements of Healthy Families are:

• Quality, affordable healthcare and insurance
• Comprehensive, medically accurate sexuality education
• Access to a full range of contraception and reproductive options for women and men
• Prenatal and postnatal care, with an emphasis on reducing infant mortality
• Quality adoption and foster care services
• Education and training for jobs and careers
• Good jobs at a living wage
• High quality childcare and preschool education
• Proper nutrition
• Safe, affordable housing
• A clean environment
• Freedom from violence
• Federal and state policies that enhance the well-being of all families and give priority to family relationships and needs
• Respect in the community and nation for diversity of religious and cultural beliefs and practices
